Media Housing Requests

Media housing requests were due at the end of February. A limited number of rooms are still available at select properties. If you would still like to make a request for housing, please email medialogistics@demconvention.com for more information.

The DNC Housing team will follow up with your identified point of contact with instructions to complete room block reservations with DNC-contracted hotels that are all located within five miles of the United Center. 

There is a four-night minimum stay from Aug. 19-22, 2024, and all reservations need to be made by July 15, 2024. 

Important Dates

When requesting DNC-contracted housing accommodations, please reference the below list.

Media are NOT required to stay at DNC-contracted hotels in order to cover the 2024 Democratic National Convention. All media must have a DNC credential to cover the convention.

Thursday, February 29: Initial media housing request deadline

April: Media Logistics provides media points of contact instructions to book room block through contracted hotels

June 7: Secondary media housing request deadline

Monday, July 15: Reservations finalized through the room blocks by media points of contact

Wednesday, Aug. 14 through Sunday, Aug. 25: Window of reservations available (four-night minimum from Aug. 19-22)

Monday, Aug. 19 through Thursday, Aug. 22: The days of the 2024 Democratic National Convention and the minimum stay to request a room block

Price Range

Room rates will range in the mid-$300 to mid-$600. We will work to provide an affordable rate given the requests, size of requests, and room blocks available.
