This guide includes an overview of our first ever content creator credential process, giving a better understanding of what creators can expect from the 2024 Democratic National Convention.
As Americans continue to consume information and content in new and changing ways, the convention team is committed to offering a dynamic, inclusive experience that will reach Americans within and beyond the convention hall.
Content creators can apply to receive media credentials that will provide access to key spaces across the United Center throughout the four days of the convention. Similar to traditional media, the DNCC will provide credentialed creators with logistical assistance tailored to their needs, allowing them to cover the convention, connect with surrogates and VIPs, and share the convention experience with their audiences in a way that suits their media consumption and sharing styles. The DNCC will also provide access to convention video clips and publicly available content to creators and traditional media alike who will cover the event remotely.

What is the DNCC & what are creator credentials?
The Democratic National Convention Committee (DNCC) is the convention arm of the Democratic National Committee (DNC). At the 2024 Democratic National Convention in August, delegates from all 50 states and U.S. territories will convene in Chicago to rally around Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, our nominees for President and Vice President of the United States. During the convention, Democrats will come together to build on our progress, lay out what’s at stake in this election, and unite around our shared values of democracy and freedom to create a future for all Americans.
